19 December 2005 - JEO no longer updating VirusExecutor
Today I got news from Jan Andersen of Virus Help Denmark, that the
Amiga support from Jan Erik Olausen is no longer available. Jan Erik
no longer has his Amiga, so there will be no more updates to his
VirusExecutor program. Sad news ideed. Best wishes and thanks goes
out to Jan Erik for the years he put into VirusExecutor and the
Xvs.library and other things as well.

01 April 2005 - New MCC_NList Version 0.96 Available
The NList Open Source Team has new NList custom classes for MUI. This
package was released on Dec 16, 2004. NList classes are available for
OS3, OS4 and MorphOS. The NList and NListtree have now been merged into
one package.
01 April 2005 - New MCC_Speedbar Version 19.4 Available
Alfonso Ranieri has new Speedbar custom classes for MUI. This package
was released on Feb 3, 2005. SpeedBar allow you to easily create toolbars
similar to those you can see in Windows programs, and requires OS3.x or
above.

01 December 2005 - F-PROT(TM) Antivirus for Windows v3.16d Released
Version 3.16d of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows has been released by FRISK
Software on November 28, 2005. Version 3.16d of F-Prot Antivirus for
Windows introduces a number of important bugfixes, tweaks and
optimisations. This newest version includes improved handling of corrupt
files and enhanced scanning methods. In addition, version 3.16d also
scans zip files falsely claiming to use 64-bit compression methods,
thereby fixing a minor vulnerability recently discovered in previous
versions. All users of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows are advised to
update their program to version 3.16d as soon as possible.

Version 3.16c of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows has been released by FRISK
Software on June 9, 2005. Version 3.16c of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows
includes a number of important bugfixes of significant benefit to all
users. In addition, this newest version solves issues regarding user
privilege conflicts in the virus signature file update process. This
issue might have affected some home users using the Fast User Switching
capability in Windows in conjuction with the F-Prot Scheduler as well
administrators using the Windows Scheduler to run the F-Prot Updater.
These most recent improvements, introduced in version 3.16c, provide
users of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows with smoother running,
comprehensive protection against viruses, worms and other malware

FRISK Software International released version 3.16a of F-Prot Antivirus
for DOS on Dec 27, 2004. This new version 3.16a is a minor update, which
fixes the detection of archive bombs. The total number of viruses and
Trojans that are detected with version 3.16 is somewhere over 134900.
Changes in version 3.16: The ability of F-PROT to generically detect
certain classes of "spybot" programs has been improved and many new such
programs are now detected without a DEF update being required. It will
also detect exploits in EMF files. To update your Antivirus to version

26 December 2005 - VHT Online Forums has changed location
Jan Andersen of Virus Help Denmark has set up Amiga & PC forums on the
vht-dk server. The location of all the previous VHT Forums at Runboard,
will no longer be monitored or answered by me. All help requests to that
forum will possibly be referred to the new location, depending on whether
I have the time to do so.

15 December 2005 - Hosting service now with SelectedHosting
We have lost our service with Shadow-Realm, due to the server slated
to be going offline. I have been trying to get the files and links
changed over to SelectedHosting, and it is quite a feat, with all the
services that we make use of, like the counters, mail forms, and search
code for the search boxes. Hopefully this will not be too annoying for
our Virus Help Team Canada visitors. Hamlet at Shadow Realm Creations
is hereby publically thanked for the past 5+ years of hosting the site,
for myself and Alex van Niel, the Amiga programmer of VirusChecker-II.
01 December 2005 - Oprah Winfrey will be on David Letterman
After 16 years of Oprah not visiting the David Letterman show, she will
once again make an appearance. She will probably be singing a couple of
songs from her production of The Color Purple that is being put on
across the street from the Ed Sullivan Theater.

05 November 2005 - 'Onyx' is one year old today !!
My son's pooch is now one year old. This Great Dane is real big but very
gentle, and does not knock too many things off of tables. :) My son is
enjoying the company and caring for his new side-kick.

10 October 2005 - Happy Thanksgiving 2005
Have a nice long Thanksgiving weekend if you have it where you live !!
Today, Saturday, my husband , son and I are heading over to my hubbys
mothers place for a Thanksgiving meal with some other family members.
Tomorrow, Sunday, we are heading over to my sisters to have our a meal
with them, and taking my other sister and a friend Betty with us. Come
Monday, we will be having a meal at home, with turkey, mashed potatoes
and gravy and dressing. Yum yum !!! ...hope you enjoy yours as well.

04 July 2005 - Welcome to a new family member 'Onyx' !!
Today my son picked up his new side-kick King Pin who is being re-named
to Onyx. He is an 8-month old Great Dane. Plenty of activity in store, I
suspect :) My son will be working on introducing Onyx to the english
language, as he is presently a french puppy. Onyx was born Nov 5th, 2004,
which makes tomorrow, the 5th of July, his official 8 month birthday.
