Alerts: viruses, worms, general alerts & security issues

This section will contain all the latest warnings for Amiga, PC, Mac, Linux and Misc. These warnings will take the form of actual alerts for viruses and worms, but also alerts and warnings about security issues. Some files will be compressed, or links will be available to the actual warning. If you came here looking for alerts of viruses as they relate to real people, you can check out the Center For Disease Control (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO)

Security of your system, depends on you. One of the tools to help us achieve this end, is a program called Pretty Good Privacy (PGP). The creator of PGP is Philip R. Zimmermann. PGP is encrytion software that allows people to electronically sign each piece of e-email or a binary file. The source has been compiled and ported to many computer platforms.
