This v2.7 of IXPrefs is a graphical configuration program
for versions 48.0 of ixemul.library.  The program is
incompatible with previous versions of the library.

To install manually, put the ixprefs file in your
Sys:Prefs/ directory.

This file is from the ixemul-48.0-bin.tgz archive at
the GeekGadgets ftp site at

ftp.ninemoons.com/pub/geekgadgets/amiga/m68k/snapshots/current/bin/

I manually added the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE as a
requirement of distributing the program as stated in
the ixprefs.guide. It was not in the original archive
at GeekGadget site.
